Pierre Bloch-Dumont

Biography: Pierre Bloch-Dumont holds an engineering degree from Supélec and a PhD in electrical engineering from Université Paris-Saclay. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as a research engineer at the CEA, focusing on the monitoring of photovoltaic power plants and the development of analytical algorithms.
He completed his PhD at the Group of Electrical Engineering - Paris (GeePs) in collaboration with Stellantis. His research centered on vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, exploring how emerging constraints in the sector—such as virtual mileage and discharge energy budget—impact traditional use cases.
Research: Currently, as a postdoctoral researcher at S.E.R.G., he is mapping the solutions implemented by V2G ecosystem stakeholders to mitigate battery degradation in electric vehicles.
