Interdisciplinary workshop: THE POTENTIAL OF RENEWABLE ENERGY AND VIABLE TRANSITION PATHWAYS

Energy Climate

Monday 4 May 2026 in Sceaux, 8.30 am–5.30 pm

Interdisciplinary workshop organised by the Graduate School of Economics & Management at Paris-Saclay University:

THE POTENTIAL OF RENEWABLE ENERGY AND VIABLE TRANSITION PATHWAYS
(RESOURCES, EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND CONDITIONS FOR MOBILISATION)

The concept of ‘low-carbon energy’ covers a wide range of resources, technologies and applications. To better understand the issues at stake, this workshop narrows its focus to renewable electricity and aims to analyse the gaps between what we can do (potential), what we want to do (targets) and what we actually do (actual trajectories).

Scientific Committee: Natalia Zugravu, Pascal Da Costa (S.E.R.G.), Guy Meunier, Patrick Schembri, Eugenia Polegri Santoni.
